Keeping you informed
This site has lots of information on sexual violence. Knowing more can help with understanding sexual violence, coping with its effects and what can help. You can also read what other survivors say about their experience and our service.
Consent
Any sexual activity between people should always involve equal agreement. If you have ever experienced sexual violence, you did not cause it and you are not to blame.
You are not alone
It may not feel like it, but you are not alone. There are people who want to help.
If you don’t want to speak to someone local, you can phone or email the Rape Crisis Scotland helpline. It’s open every day. You might not want to talk to anyone for now. There are things you can do to help yourself, which other survivors have found helpful.
